由于汉语和英语的差异，有些生活中常用的口语，汉语是很平常的用法，但是在英语中可能就不那麽贴切了。所以熟练掌握这些有差异性的英语口语对于掌握英语是有很大帮助的，特别是在跟老外交流的时候，会让老外对你刮目相看哦。
当别人在你旁边罗嗦个没完，你烦透了，说“you are so boring “.(你真烦！)。“shut up !”(闭嘴！)自然没错，可人家受得了吗？不如来一句“oh, come on.give me a break !” (帮帮忙，让我歇歇吧！)这多地道、多幽默。
要想说人“气色好”。“you look fine!”当然不错，可如果你说“you’re in the pink !”就妙得多了，实际上，在英语口语中，表示颜色的词用起来非常形象生动。
“他精力充沛”美国人说：“he is bouncy.”而不说“he is energetic ”,牢记一些日常对话中的活句式是你一把必备的钥匙。
如：久仰，“I get mind of you ”比“I heard a lot about you.”轻松得多。 代问他人好当然能用”please remember me to your sister .” 或“please give my best wishes to your father ”不过，若是很好的朋友，何不说，“please give my love to Jim。”
在中国可不能随便说“我想你”，然而，当和西方人分手时说“I will miss you.”要比说“good-bye”或“see you soon”有趣得多，不妨一试。
有人开会迟到了，你若对他说 “you are late .”，听起来象是废话，若说“did you get lost”，则更能让他歉然，可别说成“get lost!”那可是让人滚蛋的意思。
别人征求你的意见，问能否开窗户等，你要说“you can do that .”就有点土了，用一句“do you have the time? ”实际上，问他人的姓名，地址都可以这么用：“may I have you name?”要比”what’s your name ”礼貌得多，不过警察例外。
别人问你不愿公开的问题，切勿用“it’s my secret ,don’t ask such a personal question .”回答，一来显得你没有个性，二来也让对方尴尬。你可以说“I would rather not say .”(还是别说了吧！)。
有时候，你想说什么，可说是想不起来，你可以说“well …”“let me see”“just a moment ”或“it’s on the tip of my tongue.”等，相比之下，最后一个句型是最地道的。
交谈时，你可能会转换话题，不要只说“by the way ”,实际上，“to change the subject”“before I forget”“while I remember”“mind you ”都是既地道有受欢迎的表达。
遇到你不懂的问题时可别不懂装懂，“I know”可能是中国人用得最多，而美国人最不能接受的一句话。当一美国教师向你解释某个问题时，你如果连说两遍“I know”,我敢保证，他不会再跟你说什么了。用“I got it ”就顺耳得多，要是不懂就说“I’m not clear about it .”不过如果你会说“It’s past my understanding”或“it’s beyond me.”你的教师定会惊讶不已的。

It's not like that。这句话是用来辟谣的。当别人误会了一件事的来龙去脉，你就可以跟他说It's not like that。“不是那样的。”当然随着语气及情境的不同，It's not like that。这句话也有可能是你用来硬拗的藉口。
2. There is nothing good playing.
没好**可看。
这里的There's nothing good playing。是接着问句而来的，指的是“没有好**可看。”同样的，若是电视上没有好节目可看，你就可以说There's nothing good on TV。
3. I've gotten carried away.
我扯太远了。
get carried away字面上的意思是“被带走了”，那么被带走的是什么呢？就是心思。当你或是他人说话的时候离了题，偏离主旨扯远了。你就可以用上这个表达法I've / You've gotten carried away.
4. Good thing...
还好，幸好…
在美语当中若要表达中文里“还好，幸好…”的语气，你就可以用Good thing.。。做开头。这个句型非常简单又好用，你只要在Good thing后面加上完整的句子就可以。
5. I don't believe you're bringing this up.
你现在提这件事真是岂有此理。
bring something up是指“提到(某件事)”。当然情况会有正反两面。你若没想到对方会提起这件事讨骂，你可以说I don't believe you're bringing this up。而反过来说，若你很高兴对方主动提起了一件事，你也可以用这个片语自然说出I am glad you are bringing this up。
6. spy on...
跟监(某人)
spy这个字就是“间谍”。当动词用的意思自然就是“做间谍做的事”，也就是“监视，跟踪”之意。当你要去监视跟踪某人，美语中就说成spy on someone。
7. There's no other way of saying it.
没有别种说法。
有时候不管你再怎么转、再怎么拗，也没有办法更婉转或是避开一些绝对会出现的字，这时候你就可以用上There's no other way of saying it。这句话，来表达自己避无可避的为难，因为“没有别种说法。”
8. That will not always be the case.
情况不会永远是这样。
case这个字有“情况”的意思，That will be the case.就是指“情况就会是这样了。”
但是你若觉得现在的情况只会是暂时，不会长久，你就可以反过来说That will not always be the case.“情况不会永远是这样。”
9. She is coming on to you.
她对你有意思。
She is coming on to you。这句话是用在两性的关系上，意思是“她对你投怀送抱。”也就是形容某人对某人有意思的情况，这个句型男女两性都适用；同样的情况，你也可以说She is making a pass at you。“她对你眉来眼去的。”这两种说法都很生动，而且最棒的是没有新单字，赞！
10. I was being polite.
我这是在说客气话。
polite这个字，我们在学校学的意思是“有礼貌的”。当然你若要说一个人有礼貌，你可以说He is polite.或是He has good manners.不过I was being polite.这句话是指“我这是在说客气话。”使用的情境比较趋近于客套而不伤和气的出发点，与“做作”artificial (a.)又不一样了。

放(某人)鸽子
stand someone up这个词组，大家若是第一次看到，想必多半是满头雾水，怎么单字全都认识，意思却完全猜不出来。其实stand someone up的意思就是“放(某人)鸽子”，这么简单又实用的句子，可得赶快记起来。

有时候事情的来龙去脉浑沌不清，让人摸不着头脑，若是突然曙光一现，让你豁然开朗，这会儿你就可以用上这句话So that explains it / everything.“这就都说得通了。”

你是不是有了新欢？
Is there someone else？这句话字面上是指“有其它人吗？”不过Is there someone else？这句话在使用上，问的那个“其它人”一定是感情上的“新欢，新对象”，所以若是情侣或是夫妻之间有人说了这句Is there someone else？“你是不是有了新欢？”这可就不太妙了。
15. I can't help myself.
我情不自禁。
我无法控制自己。I can't help myself。这句话可不是“我帮不了自己。”(赶快消除记忆)，其实 I can't help myself. 这句话的意思是“我情不自禁。”指的是对自己的无能为力。I can't help... 这个句型很好用，若是你遇到一个情况，想要说“我不禁纳闷了起来。”在美语中你就可以直接说： I can't help but wonder.
16. come hell or high water
就算天崩地裂…
这个短语的使用时机是当你要去执行一项任务或是做一件事之际，只许成功不许失败的决心。就犹如中文的“就算天崩地裂…”，比喻不论发生什么状况都要去完成使命。可以用在句首当作一句话的开头，或是放在句尾补述。

彼此有着共通点
have something in common是指“彼此有着共通点”，可能是嗜好，也可能是观念。若你和某人完全不对盘，丝毫没有共通点，你就可以说We have nothing in common.
18. What have you got to lose？
你有啥好损失的？
What have you got to lose？这句话当中的lose是指“失去”的意思，当有人犹豫不决，始终做不了决定，你就可以用这句话What have you got to lose？ “你有啥好损失的？”，来增强对方破釜沈舟的决心。

你不该这么苛责自己的。

日常英语口语6中考英语口语考试应重视日常话题
黄侃（南京市英语学科带头人，南京一中高级教师）
20xx年，南京市再次将口试纳入英语中考并记入总分（满分为10分），口试的时间是20xx年4月22－24日。由各区、县组织考试。
口试的内容将由“朗读短文、回答问题、情景对话和话题简述”4部分组成。
“朗读短文”要求学生能比较流利地朗读一篇所学课文或难度略低于所学语言材料的内容。着重考查学生的.语音、句子重音、连读、不完全爆破、意群和停顿、升调和降调以及流畅程度。
“回答问题”要求学生能根据所给情景回答所提问题。着重考查学生对日常交际用语的掌握情况。
“情景对话”要求学生能根据所给情景提示进行交谈，不少于5句话，尽管此题也是考查学生对日常交际用语的掌握情况，但要求明显高于“回答问题”。
“话题简述”要求学生能按题目和提示要点连续说一段话，清楚地表达主要意思，不少于7句。着重考查学生按题目连续说话的能力。
应试对策：每天用英语叙说身边事
首先要重视《初中学生英语口语等级测试训练材料》。熟读并背诵该材料所提供的30篇短文、200多组简单对话、20段情景对话和20个话题。
因为在进行口语测试时，主考教师将在《初中学生英语口语等级测试训练材料》所提供的短文中，选取一篇作为朗读测试材料，选取5组简单对话作为回答问题，选取一段对话作为情景对话题，选取一个话题作为话题简述题。
其次要坚持使用英语，提高使用英语的能力。《牛津初中英语》作为新一代的英语教材在部编教材的基础上进行了很大的改进和创新并充分体现了《新课标》的诸多精神。
笔者认为熟读课文是非常重要的同时也是行之有效的方法。因为在口语测试中，考生要能比较连贯地朗读所学课文或难度略低于所学语言材料的短文，这就要求学生平时能抽出一定的时间进行课文以及其他材料的朗读。
在朗读的过程中，学生不仅要注意语音语调，意群停顿和流畅程度，而且更重要的是领悟文章内容，习得语言以外的知识如异域文化、人生真谛、生活常识等。熟悉这些材料还能提高学生在笔试中的阅读理解能力。还要重视日常生活话题，熟悉此类话题，尽量用流畅的语言来叙述这类话题。学生可利用每天睡前10分钟，坚持用英语口头叙说身边发生的事情。
第三，英语口语考试表面上看是考查学生的口语能力，实际上同样也考查学生的听力。如果一个学生没有好的听力，很难与别人对话，表达自己的思想。因此听力至关重要。
学生可以在这段时间内多听配套磁带，跟着模仿以创设英语情景，也可自助录音进行比较，找出不足之处。
