The Rainy Day 雨天
--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 亨利.沃兹渥斯.朗费罗
The day is cold,and dark,and dreary;
It rains,and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead lees fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold and dark and dreary;
It rains and the wind is never weary;
My though still cling to the moldering past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still,sad heart!And cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
天冷、阴暗、沉闷;
下着雨,风也刮个不停;
我的生活寒冷、阴郁、沉闷;
下着雨,风也刮个不停;
安静吧,忧伤的心!别再悔恨;
乌云后面太阳依然辉煌灿烂;
These Things Shall Never Die
--Charles Dickens/
The pure.the bright,the beautiful,
That stirred our hearts in youth,
The impulses to wordless prayer,
The dreams of love and truth; 让我们梦想着爱与真理的;
The longing after something's lost,
The spirit's yearning cry,
The striving after better hopes-
These things can never die.
The timid hand stretched forth to aid
A brother in his need,
A kindly word in grief's dark hour
That proves a friend indeed ; 就足以证明朋友的真心;
The plea for mercy softly breathed,
When justice threatens nigh,
The sorrow of a contrite heart-
These things shall never die.
Let nothing pass for every hand
Must find some work to do ; 尽你所能地去做;
Lose not a chance to waken love-
Be firm,and just ,and true; 为人要坚定,正直,忠诚;
So shall a light that cannot fade
Beam on thee from on high.
And angel voices say to thee---
These things shall never die.
Love's Witness--
Slight unpremeditated Words are borne
By every common Wind into the Air;
Carelessly utter'd, die as soon as born,
And in one instant give both Hope and Fear:
Breathing all Contraries with the same Wind
According to the Caprice of the Mind.
But Billetdoux are constant Witnesses,
Substantial Records to Eternity;
Just Evidences,who the Truth confess,
On which the Lover safely may rely;
They're serious Thoughts,digested and resolv'd;
And last,when Words are into Clouds devolv'd.
被每一次平凡的呼吸载入空气;
直至永恒的实体记录;
恋人能在其上安心依附;
它们是严肃的思想,经过深思熟虑;
Almost Persuaded--- by Did Houston
August 18, 2001 18:17
Last night all alone in the bar room
Met a girl with a drink in her hand
She has ruby red eyes, cold black hair
And eyes that could tempt any man
And she came and sat down at my table
And there she placed her soft hand in mine
I found myself wanting to kiss her
For temptation was flowing like wine
And I Almost Persuaded
To strip myself off my pride
Almost Persuaded
To push my conscience aside
And we danced and she whispered,
"I need you"
Take me away from here and be my man
Then I looked into her eyes and I saw ----
The reflection of my wedding band
And I Almost Persuaded
To let strange lips lead me on
Almost Persuaded
But your sweet love made me
Stop and go home

To Love You Well Enough by Robert A. Daniels
Do I know you well enough
To love you well enough
To dream by your side
Until death do we part?
Am I one with you
In the way that the star and its light are one,
Or is there division, as a horizon,
Standing between us?
Do you fill me or empty me;
Do you invade my spirit
Or allow it to be released
Like a genie from a tarnished lamp?
Do I know you well enough
To love you well enough
To dream by your side
Until death do we part?
Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again --- by Xu Zhimo
Very quietly I take my lee
As quietly as I came here;
Quietly I we good-bye
To the rosy clouds in the western sky.
The golden willows by the riverside
Are young brides in the setting sun;
Their reflections on the shimmering wes
Always linger in the depth of my heart.
The floatingheart growing in the sludge
Sways leisurely under the water;
In the gentle wes of Cambridge
I would be a water plant!
That pool under the shade of elm trees
Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;
Shattered to pieces among the duckweeds
Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?
To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream
To where the green grass is more verdant;
Or to he the boat fully loaded with starlight
And sing aloud in the splendour of starlight.
But I cannot sing aloud
Quietness is my farewell music;
Even summer insects heep silence for me
Silent is Cambridge tonight!
Very quietly I take my lee
As quietly as I came here;
Gently I flick my sleeves
Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away
正如我轻轻的来;
油油的在水底招摇;
悄悄是别离的笙箫;
正如我悄悄的来;
Bed in Summer Robert Louis Stevenson
In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow candle-light.
In summer, quite the other way,
I he to go to bed by day.
I he to go to bed and see
The birds still hopping on the tree,
Or hear the grown-up people's feet
Still going past me in the street.
And does it seem hard to you,
When all the sky is clear and blue,
And I should like so much to play,
To he to go to bed by day?
Silent meaning
The word not spoken goes not quite unheard.
It lingers in the eye, in the semi-arch of brow.
A gesture of the hand speaks pages more than words,
The echo rests in the heart as driftwood does in sand,
To be rubbed by time until it rots or shines.
The word not spoken touches us as music does the mind.
Sliver By Walter de la Mare
Slowly, silently, now the moon
Walks the night in her silver shoon;
This way, and that, she peers, and sees
Sliver fruit upon silver trees;
One by one the casements catch
Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;
Couched in his kennel, like a log,
With paws of silver sleeps the dog;
From their shadowy cote the white breasts peep
Of doves in a silver-feathered sleep;
A harvest mouse goes scampering by,
With silver claws, and silver eye;
And motionless fish in the water gleam,
By silver reeds in a silver stream.银 白

Morning
I love to wake to each new day,
And brush my dreams
Of night away,
And look out through my window wide
To see what weather is outside,
And wonder what exciting thing
This shining, un-used day
Will bring.
Ode To The Sea---Pablo Neruda
Here surrounding the island there is sea
But what sea
lt's always overflowing
says " Yes," then"No," then "No"again.
And "No,"says"Yes" in blue,
in sea spray raging,
says "No" and "No" again.
It can't be still.
It stammers "my name is sea."
It slaps the rocks,
and when they aren't convinced
Strokes them and soaks them
and smolders them with kisses.
with seven green tongues of seven green dogs,
Or seven green tigers, or Seven green seas
Beating its chest, stammering its name.
Oh, sea, this is your name.
oh, comrade ocean, don't waste time
or water getting so upset.
Help us instead.
We're meager fishermen,
men from the shore.
We're hungry and cold
and you're our foe.
Don't beat so hard, don't shout so loud.
Open your green coffers.
Place gifts of silver in our hands.
Give us this day our daily fish.
Dreams 梦想
---Langston Hughes
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That can never fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go 梦想若是消丧
Life is a barren field
Frozen only with snow
Windflowers
Windflowers,windflowers
my father told me not to go
near them
He said he feared them always
and he told me that they
carried him away
Windflowers,beartiful
windflowers
I couldn't wait to touch them
to smell them I held them
closely
And now I cannot break away
Their sweet bouquet disears
like the vapor in the desert
So take a warning ,son
Windflowers ,ancient
windflowers
their beauty capture every
young dreamer
who lingers near them
But ancient windflowers,
I love you

Proud Maisie is in the wood,
Walking so early;
Sweet Robin sits on the bush,
Singing so rarely.
“tell me ,thou bonny bird,
when shall I marry me?”
-“when six braw gentlemen
kirkward shall carry ye.”
“who makes the bridal bed,
birdie, say truly?”
-“The gray-headed ton
That delves the gre duly.
“The glowworm o’er gre and stone
Shall light thee steady;
The owl from the steeple sing,
Welcome, proud lady.”
踩着晨曦;
If 如果
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men dou you,
But make allowance for their douing too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about,don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twiseted by knes to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you ge your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothin in you
Except the Will which says to them:"Hold on!";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings -nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty second' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
你仍能保持头脑情形;
你仍能坚信自己,让所有的怀疑动摇;
不要太乐观,不要自以为是;
如果你是个追梦人——不要被梦主宰;
如果你是个爱思考的人——光想会达不到目标;
把两者当骗子看待;
被恶棍扭曲,用于蒙骗傻子;
然后俯身,用破烂的工具把它修补;
不要抱怨你的失败;
只有意志告诉你“坚持!”;
伴王行走,能保持距离;
如果仇敌和好友都不害你;
如果所有人都指望你,却无人全心全意;

我们把黄金期启蒙分为三个阶段;

The wheels on the bus,这真是我们家的启蒙第一书,能唱能读,最后都翻烂了。
I can read
兰登step into reading1
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heen shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.?
你不独比他可爱也比他温婉;
夏天出赁的期限又未免太短;
他那炳耀的金颜又常遭掩蔽;
也不会损失你这皎洁的红芳;
The first time when I saw her being meek that she might attain height.
The second time when I saw her limping before the crippled.
The third time when she was given to choose between the hard and the easy, and she chose the easy.
The fourth time when she committed a wrong, and comforted herself that others also commit wrong.
The fifth time when she forbore for weakness, and attributed her patience to strength.
The sixth time when she despised the ugliness of a face, and knew not that it was one of her own masks.
And the seventh time when she sang a song of praise, and deemed it a virtue.
第一次,当它本可进取时,却故作谦卑;
第二次,当它在空虚时,用爱欲来填充;
第三次,在困难和容易之间,它选择了容易;
第四次,它犯了错,却借由别人也会犯错来宽慰自己;
第五次,它自由软弱,却把它认为是生命的坚韧;
第六次,当它鄙夷一张丑恶的嘴脸时,却不知那正是自己面具中的一副;
В душе моей угасла не совсем;
Но пусть она вас больше не тревожит;
То робостью, то ревностью томим;

O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn's being,
Thou, from whose unseen presence the leesdead.
Are driven, like ghosts from an enchanter fleeing,
Yellow, and black, and pale, and hectic red,
Pestilence-stricken multitudes: O thou,
Who chariotest to their dark wintry bed
The winged seeds, where they lie cold and low,
Each like a corpse within its gre, until
Thine azuresister of the Spring shall blow
Her clariono'erthe dreaming earth, and fill
(Driving sweet buds like flocks to feed in air)
With living huesand odoursplain and hill:
Wild Spirit, which art moving everywhere;
Destroyer and preserver; hear, oh hear!
Thou on whose stream, mid the steep sky's commotion,
Loose clouds like earth's decaying lees are shed,
Shook from the tangled boughs of Heen and Ocean,
Angels of rain and lightning: there are spread
On the blue surface of thine aery surge,
Like the bright hair uplifted from the head
Of some fierce Maenad, even from the dim verge
Of the horizon to the zenith's height,
The locks of the roaching storm. Thou dirge
Of the dying year, to which this closing night
Will be the dome of a vast sepulchre,
Vaulted with all thy congregated might
Of vapours, from whose solid atmosphere
Black rain, and fire, and hail will burst: oh hear!
Thou who didst waken from his summer dreams
The blue Mediterranean, where he lay,
Lull'd by the coil of his crystalline streams,
Beside a pumice isle in Baiae's bay,
And saw in sleep old palaces and towers
Quivering within the we's intenser day,
All overgrownwith azure moss and flowers
So sweet, the sense faints picturing them! Thou
For whose path the Atlantic's level powers
Clee themselves into chasms, while far below
The sea-blooms and the oozy woods which wear
The sapless foliage of the ocean, know
Thy voice, and suddenly grow gray with fear,
And tremble and despoil themselves: oh hear!
If I were a dead leaf thou mightest bear;
If I were a swift cloud to fly with thee;
A we to pant beneath thy power, and share
The impulse of thy strength, only less free
Than thou, O uncontrollable! If even
I were as in my boyhood, and could be
The comrade of thy wanderings over Heen,
As then, when to outstrip thy skiey speed
Scarce seem'd a vision; I would ne'er he striven
As thus with thee in prayer in my sore need.
Oh, lift me as a we, a leaf, a cloud!
I fall upon the thorns of life! I bleed!
A hey weight of hours has chain'd and bow'd
One too like thee: tameless, and swift, and proud.
Make me thy lyre, even as the forest is:
What if my lees are falling like its own!
The tumult of thy mighty harmonies
Will take from both a deep, autumnal tone,
Sweet though in sadness. Be thou, Spirit fierce,
My spirit! Be thou me, impetuous one!
Drive my dead thoughts over the universe
Like wither'd lees to quicken a new birth!
And, by the incantation of this verse,
Scatter, as from an unextinguish'd hearth
Ashes and sparks, my words among mankind!
Be through my lips to unawaken'd earth
The trumpet of a prophecy! Oh Wind,
If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
狂野的精灵呵,你无处不远行;
我若是一片落叶随你飘腾;
我若是一朵流云伴你飞行;

days of my past
I recall when I was young
oh I will play and always hing fun
with the neighbour next to me
and we'll play until the setting sun
try to be the best among
the others in a game call the "spider battle"
It doesn't matter
who is the best now
Those were the days of my past
few years later when I got to school
and was late for lesson all the time
always day dreaming in the class
till I don't even know the lesson's done
then my teacher always tell me
never ever be lazy again
what can I do now
what can I say now
those were the days of my past
as the days go on and on
I w up and had my first love
candel light and sandy beach
finally give away my first kiss
mather said I was too young
to fall in love and then I will one day ret
so love was over
but I do miss her
those were the days of my past
just when I left my high school and
got my first job in a sales night
working hard all day and night
no one there to lend a helping hand
dady told me not to worry
and said that l should go on step by step
what can i say now
what can I do now
those were the days of my past
then one day i settled down
with the only one I really love
got a small family with two kids
that is what I'm always hoping for
but i still remenber hing
fun with all my friends when I was young
I miss my home town
I miss my old friends
those the days of my past
I miss my home town
I miss my old friends
when will i see them again
2I remember, I remember
The house where I was born,,
the little window where the sun
Came peeping in at morn:
He never came a wink too soon,
Nor brought too long a day,
But now, I often wish the night
Had borne my breath away!
I remember, I remember
Where I was used to swing
and thought the air must rush as fresh
To swallows on the wing;
My spirit flew in feathers then,
That is so hey now,
And summer pools could hardly cool
The fever on my brow!
飞燕也颇有同感;
I remember, I remember
The fir trees dark and high;
I used to think their slender tops
Were close against the sky;
It was a childish ignorance,
But now with little joy
To know I'm farther off from heen
Than when I was a boy!
我忆起,我忆起茂密高耸的冷杉;
逼近天空;

If I were a Boy Again
If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. If we want light, we must conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results.There are only two creatures,? syas a proverb,who can surmount the pyramids?the eagle and the snail.? If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begain early enough. I often hear grown up people say I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so? , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth. If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would cultivate courage.Nothing is so mild and gentle as courage, nothing so cruel and pitiless as cowardice,? syas a wise author. We too often borrow trouble, and anticipate that may never ear.? The fear of ill exceeds the ill we fear.? Dangers will arise in any career, but presence of mind will often conquer the worst of them. Be prepared for any fate, and there is no harm to be freared. If I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. Life is very much like a mirror: if you smile upon it, I smiles back upon you; but if you frown and look douful on it, you will get a similar look in return. Inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that come in contact with it. who shuts love out ,in turn shall be shut out from love.? If I were a boy again, I would school myself to say no more often. I might write pages on the importance of learning very early in life to gain that point where a young boy can stand erect, and decline doing an unworthy act because it is unworthy. If I were a boy again, I would demand of myself more courtesy towards my companions and friends, and indeed towards strangers as well. The smallest courtesies along the rough roads of life are like the little birds that sing to us all winter long, and make that season of ice and snow more endurable. Finally, instead of trying hard to be hy, as if that were the sole purpose of life, I would , if I were a boy again, I would still try harder to make others hy.

Tonight I Can Write
Pablo Neruda
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
Write, for example, 'the night is starry and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance'.
The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.
Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.
She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not he loved her great still eyes.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not he her.
To feel that I he lost her.
o hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.
What does it matter that my love could not keep her,
The night is starry and she is not with me. This is all.
In the distance someone is singing. In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.
My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer.
我的目光搜寻她,想要把她拉近;
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.
The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.
I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.
Another's. She will be another's.
As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.
I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.
Because through nights like this one
I held her in my arms
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.
Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer and these the last verses that I write for her.
2Love's Omnipresence
Joshua Sylvester
WERE I as base as is the lowly plain, And you, my Love, as high as heen above,
Yet should the thoughts of me your humble swain Ascend to heen, in honour of my Love.
Were I as high as heen above the plain, And you, my Love, as humble and as low
As are the deepest bottoms of the main, Whereso?er you were, with you my love should go.
Were you the earth, dear Love, and I the skies, My love should shine on you like to the sun,
And look upon you with ten thousand eyes
Till heen wax?d blind, and till the world were done.
Whereso?er I am, below, or else above you, Whereso?er you are, my heart shall truly love you.
3The Passionate Shepherd to His Love

And we will sit upon the rocks, Seeing the shepherds feed their flocks, By shallow rivers to whose falls Melodious birds sing 3)madrigals.
And I will make thee beds of roses And a thousand fragrant posies, A cap of flowers, and a kirtle Embroidered all with lees of myrtle;
A gown made of the finest wool Which from our pretty lambs we pull; Fair lined slippers for the cold, With buckles of the purest gold;
A belt of straw and ivy buds, With coral clasps and amber studs: And if these pleasures may thee move, Come live with me and be my love.
The shepherds? swains shall dance and sing For thy delight each May morning: If these delights thy mind may move, Then live with me and be my love.
What I He Lived For
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, he governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, he blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a deep ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair.
I he sought love, first, because it brings ecstasy---ecstasy so great that I would often he sacrificed all the rest of my life for a few hours for this joy. I he sought it, next, because it relieves loneliness---that terrible loneliness in which one shivering consciousness looks over the rim of the world into the cold unfathomable lifeless abyss. I he sought it, finally, because in the union of love I he seen, in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heen that saints and poets he imagined. This is what I sought, and though it might seem too good for human life, this is what---at last---I he found.
With equal passion I he sought knowledge. I he wished to understand the hearts of men. I he wished to know why the stars shine. And I he tried to rehend the Pythagorean power by which number holds sway above the flux. A little of this, but not much, I he achieved.
Love and knowledge, so far as they were possible, led upward toward the heens. But always pity brought me back to earth. Echoes of cries of pain reverberate in my heart. Children in famine, victims tortured by oppressors, helpless old people a hatred burden to their sons, and the whole world of loneliness, poverty, and pain make a mockery of what human life should be. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot, and I too suffer.
This has been my life. I he found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me.
When Love Beckons You
When love beckons to you, follow him, though his ways are hard and steep. And when his wings enfold you, yield to him, though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you, believe in him, though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning. Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun, so shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
But if, in your fear, you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure, then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor, into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears. Love gives naught but it self and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not, nor would it be possessed, for love is sufficient unto love.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. But if you love and must he desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a payer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.
被自己对爱的理解所伤害;
在黎明带着轻快的心醒来并感谢又一个有家的日子;
在黄昏怀着感恩之心回家;
The Goodness of Life
Though there is much to be concerned about, there is far, far more for which to be thankful. Though life’s goodness can at times be overshadowed, it is never outweighed.
For every single act that is senselessly destructive, there are thousands more small, quiet acts of love, kindness and compassion. For every person who seeks to hurt, there are many, many more who devote their lives to helping and to healing.
There is goodness to life that cannot be denied.
In the most magnificent vistas and in the smallest details, look closely, for that goodness always comes shining through.
There is no limit to the goodness of life. It grows more abundant with each new encounter. The more you experience and reciate the goodness of life, the more there is to be lived.
Even when the cold winds blow and the world seems to be covered in foggy shadows, the goodness of life lives on. Open your eyes, open your heart, and you will see that goodness is everywhere.
Though the goodness of life seems at times to suffer setbacks, it always endures. For in the darkest moment it becomes vividly clear that life is a priceless treasure. And so the goodness of life is made even stronger by the very things that would oppose it.
Time and time again when you feared it was gone forever you found that the goodness of life was really only a moment away. Around the next corner, inside every moment, the goodness of life is there to surprise and delight you.
Take a moment to let the goodness of life touch your spirit and calm your thoughts. Then, share your good fortune with another. For the goodness of life grows more and more magnificent each time it is given away.
Though the problems constantly scream for attention and the conflicts ear to rage ever stronger, the goodness of life grows stronger still, quietly, peacefully, with more purpose and meaning than ever before.

Spring
Robert McCracken
Today is the day when bold kites fly,
When cumulus clouds roar across the sky.
When robins return, when children cheer,
When light rain beckons spring to ear.
Today is the day when daffodils bloom,
Which children pick to fill the room,
Today is the day when grasses green,
When lees burst forth for spring to be seen
It is quite late now, though it was not late to me before at this clock. I should not stay so late I know. When one is getting old,he knows more about life. I think I do. I never felt time passing from me so fast like now. I always belived that the days would be splendid in the future . But I he came to know - it is not certain. I he came to understand what life is. Life is to be limited. I can say I dont fear death for I know it is part of nature. Once I talked with my friend, I said I could aept death, death of everybody, including myself. I know everyone who is existing in this world now will disear one day. It is our destiny. How should we face it? Cry or *** ile? Looking at the blossom on the trees outside the window,I still remember the flowers falling down last year. Did they cry? I didn't ask them so I didn't he answer to this question. I saw the yellow lees dancing in the air last autumn, I didn't ask if they were sad either. I just saw them flashing in the sunlight, like the good dancers with good rhythm...
Spring, I never had strong feeling to spring before last year. Some people said spring should be a hy season. But I never sensed that. I always liked the autumn because I thought autumn was a romantic season. I liked summer when I was very young for I loved my skirt with lace.Now, I still like autumn and summer,while I like spring and winter. Before I disliked the various colors of the flowers,and I thought they are flighty and superficial. I thought only only the blue ocean is deep, the golden autumn is elegant. However, now I he a different idea that I find spring wonderful. I like the blossom in the field and in the moutain. From them I am spirited with life.

By Thomas Nashe
Spring, the sweet spring, is the year's pleasant king;
Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
The palm and may make country houses gay,
Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
And we hear aye birds tune this merry lay,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
The fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
Young lovers meet, old wives a sunning sit,
In every street these tunes our ears do greet,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
Spring! the sweet Spring!
SPRING
William Blake
Sound the flute!
Now it's mute.
Birds delight
Day and night;
Nightingale
In the dale,
Lark in sky,
Merrily,
Merrily, merrily, to wele in the year.
Little boy,
Full of joy;
Little girl,
Sweet and *** all;
Cock does crow,
So do you;
Merry voice,
Infant noise,
Merrily, merrily, to wele in the year.
Little lamb,
Here I am;
Come and lick
My white neck;
Let me pull
Your soft wool;
Let me kiss
Your soft face;
Merrily, merrily, we wele in the year.
百鸟和鸣;
真高兴;
甜而嫩;
人在吟;
我在等;
你请来
舐我白颈;
让我抿;
让我吻;

April Days
Days of witchery,suly sweet,
When every hell anstree finds heart,
When witer and spring like lovers meet
In the mist of noon and part---
In the April days.
Nights when the wood frogs faintly peep
Once-ice-and then are still,
And the woodpeckers' martial voices sweep
Like bugle notes from hill to hill-
Through the pulseless haze
Days when the soil is warm with rain,
And through the wood the shy wind steals,
Rich with the pine and the poplar *** ell,
And the joyous earth like a dancer reels-
Through the April days!
Springtime
When springtime es upon us
Filling freshness in the air
Showing natures own beauty
With flowers blooming everywhere.
Trees start slowly budding
Opening to the sun's warm rays
Start the birds to singing
Touching our hearts in these ways.
The grass starts turning greener
Pushing up out of the ground.
Nature is waking up
Sending forth her beautiful sound.
